Hello? I am. Oh, I closed the tab. I didn’t want to, um, I am Jordan Hansen with cobalt intelligence. We’re talking about the secretary of state API today. Today. We’re going to demo how to do Alabama. So here we are. This is Alabama. We now support Alabama. You can test it out here on our website, cobalt intelligence.com/secretary of state.

It allows you to the API allows you to programmatically, get business data from the secretary of state business is or whatever. So here is the Alabama secretary of state come over here. Search for Garcia search. It finds a business. Garcia auto sells. I want yeah. Exists. That’s great. Crazy auto sales.

We’ll click here and bam, here’s the information for that business. So you can do this with most states, right? You can go to their thing. You can search. Um, now the API allows you to do that. Um, uh, just easily like you can do it all. Programmatically, get a list of business names. Come over here. Pass them in here L for Alabama, or you can read it the full name either way.

It can handle both. We’ll search it as it searches. We’ll take a second to talk about the SDK. That’s. What I’m using here is the SDK. You can see I’m importing SSA API from the STK. I pass in the S the API key, and then I just call SOS, API dot, get business details with the business name. And that gives you the D the stuff now I recommend using the SDK it’s JavaScript only right now.

Maybe, eventually we got other stuff like Python. I know a lot of web scrapers or Python used Python. And so bam, it gets the data. It makes it really easy. Uh, and then you also can search for SSAB being secretary of state ID, entity number, all of that would have been yeah. So run it right here. Bam. So it’s going to go over here and go do the exact same thing instead of searching for good business details.

Use it with the method, get business details by us. We’ll say D, there we go. Now I recommend in SDK. It’s really, it makes it really easy. Some states have retry long polling because it takes so long. They take a couple of minutes to run because there’s captures to solve. So I recommend it, but if you don’t want to use it, you can always call it.

I’m over here. You can see you just called the URL API gateway dot cobalt, intelligence.com/search search query with the business name and the state. And then you pass your API key and headaches like that. And then you reply. Same thing with SSAB.

like that. That’s it. So that’s the secretary of state API, a demo of how to get Alabama business day. Thanks everyone.
