Hello, there I am Jordan Hanson with cobalt intelligence. I’m talking about the secretary of state API. This is an API you can use to get business data from different states today. We’re going to look at Florida. Now. Florida’s website has been intermittent. Like every, every other request, it feels like it has a 5 0 3.

So we try to handle that the best we can, but there could be failures on that as it works. You’ll see, probably see it here as we test it. So we go over here. We search. Like see like that, but you just refresh. So no. So no, come on there, Ben. And we’re looking for you B Corp development, LLC, right there.

There’s your business now? I don’t know why it’s doing this. It wasn’t, hasn’t always been like this. They must be having some kind of problems over there. Um, I am almost considering calling them because it’s happens like all the time. Now, if you’re calling Florida, it’s simple. You come over here, you get an API key for.

Email, whatever. Maybe one day I’ll make it automated. And you have the URL you pass in a search query. Was it the business? Same. So in this case we pass it in UBI. I, whatever corporate developments passing the state and your API, you’re going to put the headers just like this. And then you get the data.

You won’t have a retry ID for this guy because it doesn’t take very long. Okay. If you want to use the SDK, it’s easy peasy. Come up here. All right. I’ll mush. I’ll get it going right now. So let’s say you want to use this? Okay. This is nice. Okay. He calls this function and this is how you do it. You import the SDK.

It’s a JavaScript SDK import that module. That’s SAP, one passing your environment or your API key. And then you just give it this function right here. Get business details. You give the business name and the state and it will run it for you. Now let’s say you want to do it by, by entity ID. By secretary of state ID, we call it SOS.

That’s fine. Let’s do it. Laura does the Florida’s. Now, if you want to do without the SDK, it’s the same exact thing. All you do, you search it’s changed search query parameter over to SSHD bass in the state. The same thing with the API key. You get that data here, huh? Look-see because the 5 0 3 and then you come over here and if you want to use it with the STDs.

You just call it this function instead. Same thing, initialize the API. They would go at this time, it worked and you get the business details by SOS ID, Florida business data, secretary of state, secretary of state business data for Florida right there. Cobalt intelligence. Good. As an API key. Come on down.

Everyone’s having a good time. We’ll see ya.
